Superlativo is a limited edition by Desenlace Wines, created with the mission of crafting exceptional wines that capture the essence of every corner of Mendoza. This project is the result of the dedication and passion of winemaker Rogelio Rabino and sommelier Macarena Carmona, a couple with a strong background in the wine industry.
Rogelio, born in Mendoza, Argentina, graduated as an agricultural engineer in 2007 and furthered his studies in oenology. He has worked at renowned wineries such as Kaiken, Finca Sophenia, and Finca Flichman, in addition to harvesting in different wine regions around the world.
Macarena, also from Mendoza, is a certified sommelier with an international diploma and achieved fourth place in the 2019 Best Sommelier of Argentina competition. Her experience includes years working in prestigious hotels in France and Spain, traveling through various wine regions to deepen her expertise.
Mendoza, recognized as Argentina’s wine capital, is one of the world's most prestigious wine regions. Its combination of high-altitude vineyards, dry climate, and diverse soils allows for the production of wines of exceptional quality, gaining international acclaim and a strong presence in global markets.
The label design aims to capture the essence of Mendoza’s landscape, presenting an artistic interpretation of its mountains and valleys. Using a rich and earthy color palette, it reflects the diversity of the terroir, its mineral-rich soils, and the natural beauty that defines this wine region. A visual representation that embodies the identity of Superlativo: a wine born in the vastness of the Andes, full of character and authenticity.
